Kana is marked in red at the top. The evidence favors this
site as biblical Cana.
Kefr Kenna is marked in blue. This is
the location where recent tradition locates the first miracle of Jesus.
Nazareth is circled in green.
This was Jesus' hometown.
This map was
made by the Palestine Exploration Fund in the 1870s and published in 26
large sheets on a scale of 1 inch to 1 mile. It has recently been
published for the first time in
electronic format in the Historic Views of
the Holy Land series.
