Visual images provide an additional dimension of illumination

“Commentaries are valuable resources for understanding the text of Scripture, but visual images provide an additional dimension of illumination into the language, imagery, and cultural setting of the Bible. This high-quality collection of pictures will deeply enrich your grasp of the Biblical text.

Clinton E. Arnold, Dean and Professor of New Testament at Talbot School of Theology (Biola University); general editor of the Zondervan Illustrated Bible Backgrounds Commentary and author of Colossians in the Word Biblical Commentary (in preparation)
